Custom made gravity positioning system
The Gravity Chair looks like a simple armchair. But it is so much more. It is a postiioning system made of foam and therefore adapts very well to the body. The individuals center of gravity is located low, which makes the sitting position more stable.
It is also more stable due to the tight body on the left and right and the high armrests. The position of the armrests means that the arms are raised and this gives the chest more freedom to breathe: after just a few minutes, blood tests can show a higher oxygen content in the blood.
The Gravity Chair can be adapted to the special dimensions of the patient using various individually manufactured modules.
The position of the head and upper body can be easily stabilized. The triangular wedge, which can be pushed under the Gravity Chair at the front as well as at the back, is used for this. In the case of severe scoliosis, the wedge can also be positioned under the chair from the side so that the upper body is brought into an upright position and an active body reaction is often provoked in the opposite side.
