With all powerchairs there is always going to be weight due to having motors and batteries so Freedom have a solution with this detachable frame design, the DE08L separates into 2 sections with the heaviest part just 15.5kg. Yet it retains the classic sturdiness of FreedomChairs allowing active users up to 160kg to drive on uneven surfaces such as gravel, grass and cobblestones.
