As with all stairlifts, you don’t need to worry about any structural changes to your home. As the rail fits directly to the staircase, not the wall. The stairlift plugs directly into a UK mains socket which enables the batteries to keep thoroughly charged up. When the stairlift is not in use the seat, arms and footrest fold neatly out the way, making room for other users to pass on the stairs.
For added safety, the stairlift has five safety sensors on the footrest and carriage which means if there is any obstruction on the stairs the lift will stop. Two remote controls, with large easy to use buttons, come as standard to call the lift upstairs and downstairs.
