Woven Air

The Woven Air is a premium pressure care solution designed for all-day comfort without the need for ongoing maintenance. Engineered for exceptional stability, this air cushion supports effortless side and frontal transfers. When paired with the Contour Base accessory, it enhances pressure distribution and provides additional support for users requiring extra stability.

Clinical and Accessories:

It features an innovative design that delivers full flotation across all sections without the need for inflation. Its interwoven “Air Tubes” are securely positioned within an “Air Pocket” structure, directing pressure dispersion vertically for optimal immersion and equalization. Designed for superior lateral stability, the cushion maintains its shape during transfers without bunching. The base of the inner “Air Pocket” is crafted from a hook-receptive loop fabric, allowing for the integration of positioning pads to support pelvic alignment and postural needs.

“The best pressure relief in 19 years!”

Brief History & Objectives

Hi, I’m, H, an active user and love the outdoors. Having had multiple issues with pressure sores around the ischial tuberosity area and five years of bed rest as a result, the primary concern for me and my wheelchair cushion is pressure relief and reliability.

Here is my feedback, having used our Woven Air cushion

Pressure relief “Best pressure relief profile of any cushion I have used by some margin in the last 19 years”

Lightweigh t“Lighter than previous gel/foam cushions”

Stable “Having had a left hip girdle-stone operation I have always needed the stability created by a hybrid air/foam set-up previously. The Woven Air provides far more balance than other all-air systems I have tried”

Failure Redundancy “If a puncture occurs it’s not an immediate failure of the entire cushion and continues to give a degree of pressure relief” The tube can be simply and quickly replaced

Overall impressions :“It is genuinely a great cushion, light, stable, and most of all provides excellent pressure relief”
